Accessibility

The Accessible Information Standard aims to make sure that people who have a disability, impairment or sensory loss get information that they can access and understand, and any communication support that they need from health and care services.

The Standard tells organisations how they should help patients and service users, and their carers and parents, access and understand the information they are given. This includes making sure that people get information in accessible formats.

Further information can be found on NHS England’s website.

Please let our Primary Care Network know if you require any communication in a different format like accessible PDF, large print, easy read, audio recording or braille or have any information support needs.

If you have any suggestions or complaints regarding the accessibility of this website please contact Help2Change CIC.

This website has been developed to be responsive, it can display on different devices such as mobiles and tablets and includes a machine translation engine to allow the content to be translated into multiple languages.

Features to improve accessibility for users with disabilities include one-click font sizing and dyslexic fonts, high contrast colour background modes, an enlarged cursor option, and support for access keys.

The site’s accessibility menu can be enabled by clicking the icon that appears on the top left corner of each page. After triggering the accessibility menu, please wait a moment for the accessibility menu to load in its entirety.

You can also visit AbilityNet for advice on making your phone, computer or tablet easier to use if you have a disability.
